What is a Can Bar?
The AAA Can Bar is a revolution in thinking. An innovative and sustainable bar where waste is kept to a minimum. There’s no waiting and very little fuss.
You can drink straight from a can or if you’d like a glass you can have one. Wow, there were a lot of cans in that sentence. Basically we are trying to reduce our waste and carbon footprint, and we want you, dear readers, to come on this journey with us.

A Bit About the Process
While no material is impact-free, cans are proven to be the best packaging solution for liquids at all parts of the supply chain.
Production
Unlike plastic, which degrades after a few recycling cycles, aluminium is a naturally abundant substance that can be recycled infinitely. In fact, it's thought that between 75 and 80 percent of all aluminium ever manufactured is still in use today. Which is pretty cool.
Global recycling rate for cans is around 70%, substantially greater than the rates for glass (around 35%) and plastic (9%). An average of 113,200 aluminium cans are recycled per minute. By doing this, raw resources, energy, CO2 emissions, and the quantity of packaging dumped in landfills are all dramatically reduced.
Also, manufacturing recycled cans requires 95% less energy than manufacturing a can from fresh aluminium.
Distribution
Cans take about 40% less room than glass because they are lightweight and stackable. As a result, there are fewer vehicles on the road, carrying lighter loads, and consequently using less fuel.
